Precision opticians manufacture optical and precision mechanical components such as lenses, mirrors, prisms and special glasses for optical instruments and devices (e.g. microscopes) and assemble optical devices. As a precision optician, you set the devices and check their functionality with the help of special measuring and testing devices. Furthermore, you carry out various maintenance and repair work.
From the very beginning, Ewald Baumgartner Feinoptik GmbH has specialized in the manufacture of micro-optical components for installation in medical instruments, especially endoscopes.

As an employee in production, you will carry out various preparatory work for the precision processing of optical surfaces. This requires a high degree of manual dexterity, tact and good eyesight.
As an employee in control, you carry out the final inspection of optical parts under clean room conditions and assemble optical components into optical systems. You direct them into the optical axis using a collimator. Maximum cleanliness and compliance with the highest quality standards have top priority.
We merge traditional machining methods with modern CNC-controlled technologies.
