Company history

1974

Founding of the company Ewald Baumgartner GmbH. At that time, the company headquarters were in 1180 Vienna, Leo Slezakgasse 7. The main focus of production was the manufacture of fine optical components according to customer-specific requirements, which were mainly exported to Switzerland.

1980

Due to an increase in the order backlog, the company moves to 1160 Vienna, Neumayrgasse 21.

1989

Acquisition of the current company building in 1230 Vienna, Nuschinggasse 14. After a complete conversion and an adaptation of the existing building fabric, production was expanded in line with the constantly increasing demand.

2003

Extension on own property, in which the production area was expanded to 528.47m2.

2007

Management handed over to Sabine Baumgartner

2014

Grad. Eng. Nicole Baumgartner also joins the management board
