PRODUCTION OF HIGH-PRECISION MICRO-OPTICS

In our family business Ewald Baumgartner Feinoptik GmbH we develop and manufacture micro-optical components for the use in medical technology, measurement technology and research. The processing sizes range from a diameter of 0.50mm, radii of 0.30mm and thicknesses of 0.10mm. Our precision optics are manufactured according to customer-specific requirements.

We merge conventional traditional machining methods with the latest CNC-controlled technologies in order to meet all the challenges we are faced with.

The production is supported by an intensive and modern quality control.

All the necessary tools are manufactured in our own mechanical workshop. In addition, we can draw on the experience we have accumulated over the years in designing and adapting the mechanical systems according to our needs.

Although much of the work can be done by machine, many operations still require manual labor. Our experienced employees with high levels of quality awareness are therefore the backbone of our production.
